A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

Those ages 16 and up are invited to audition.

Please use the Lobby entrance to the Jasper Arts Center.

Those planning to audition should arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork and should be prepared to stay for the duration of the audition.

Come prepared to sing a 60 second song selection performed a cappella or with a recording without vocals. It is not appropriate to sing along to the original recording of songs. We want to hear you, not the original artist!

Pop or Contemporary Musical Theatre song selections are preferred.

Please wear clothing and shoes you can move in. You will be taught some choreography.

Auditionees will be asked to do a cold reading from the script.

Please bring a list of conflicts through July 26.

You do not need to attend both audition dates.

Virtual auditions will be accepted for this production. In-person auditions are preferred, but virtual auditions will be accepted if you are unable to attend either of the in-person dates. Virtual auditions must be submitted by 9:00PM EST/8:00PM CST on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 for consideration.

If you are unavailable for rehearsals for multiple weeks during the summer it is unlikely that you will cast. Absences during the last two weeks of rehearsals leading up to tech week are not permitted.

Legally Blonde is an intense show and we need everyone to be at the scheduled rehearsals.

Rehearsals will be in the evenings, with the possibility of a few weekend daytime rehearsals.

Rehearsals will begin the first week of June.
