Auditions

When the Soady clan reunites for the opening day of deer season at the family’s Upper Peninsula camp, Reuben Soady brings with him the unfortunate reputation of being the oldest Soady in the history of the family never to bag a buck. In a hunting story to beat all hunting stories, Escanaba in da Moonlight spins a hilarious tale of humor and heart – replete with Leinenkugels, pasties, and aliens – as Reuben goes to any and all lengths to remove himself from the wrong end of the family record book.

Those auditioning should be age 21 or older. The male characters are flexible in age with one male being the father figure for two brothers. The other male characters are flexible in age. The female character is about the same age as the brothers. Feel free to bring a résumé and headshot, but none are required. Also, be prepared to do a cold reading. Please be prepared to mark potential rehearsal conflict dates.
